This historical VR experience was developed for Parks Canada's Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site of Canada in 2017. Visitors travelled more than 100 years back in time to Baddeck, NS in 1919 to play the role of a test pilot for Dr. Bell's experimental hydrofoil prototype, the HD-4. In 2019, it played an important role in the 100th anniversary of the HD-4's world marine speed record.
Hosted at Parks Canada's Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site of Canada, visitors travel back in time to 1744 at the peak of prosperity and activity at the Fortress of Louisbourg. They must navigate the busy harbour and reach the gate in time to deliver an important message before the gates are closed for the night.
Developed in collaboration with the Eastern Nova Scotia Marine Stewardship Society, this project provides users with an opportunity to explore the St. Anns Bank Marine Protected area in their own personal undersea submarine.
A digital exhibit celebrating more than 100 years of steelmaking. At the turn of the century, Sydney, Nova Scotia drove Canada's industrial revolution with its rich coal deposits which fuelled its steel production. Featured at the Old Sydney Society's Bank of Montreal Museum, it allows visitors to travel back in time to get up and close to the steelmaking process as it was 75 years ago.
The world's first digital Mi'kmaq experience hosted by Membertou Heritage Park located in Membertou First Nation, Nova Scotia. The experience takes visitors back in time to pre-contact Mi'kmaq territory where they learn traditional skills including bow hunting, spear fishing, canoeing, and drumming.
